Make yourself a new candle in a couple of minutes.
Remove supplies from bag. Microwave open bag of wax upright in a microwave-safe dish for two minutes or until all wax is melted. Place the wooden wick into the metal wick holder and center in Forever Vessel. Pour in liquid wax and let set for at least two hours. Trim wick to 1/4 inch and enjoy!
No microwave, no worries. You can still make a Siblings candle. Simply bring a pot of water to a low boil on your stovetop. Place the open bag of candle wax in the water and let it simmer until all the wax is melted—about 5 minutes. Carefully remove the bag and when it is cool enough to touch, pour liquid wax into your vessel, let it set and enjoy.
Pro-tip
Always let your candle burn until the surface of the candle is completely melted. This is especially important on the first burn as wax has a memory. Make sure to trim the wooden wick before each lighting for the cleanest burn and to maintain a safe flame height.
At Siblings, they’re on a mission to tackle throwaway culture, and their first step is doing candles right — right by the environment, right by your home, right for your health.
